Step story
Each Sunday, just before the children leave the sanctuary for Church School, they go up to the steps that lead up to
the platform for a special story that will help them understand the lesson for the day.
Among the most memorable step
stories was when Marilyn Woolsey brought her pet snake to show the serpent from the Garden of Eden. When she handed it to
Rev. Richard Tosh, he was not the least enthusaistic about taking it from her!
Church School
Meets at 9:20 a.m. (Manvel) and 11:20 a.m. (Federated), September-May
Vacation Bible School
Held in June each year, at the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Forks, ND
Confirmation
On June 19, 2005, Kaitlin Medal and Kelsey Hanson were confirmed and accepted into the membership of Federated Church.
They both gave a fine presentation of various aspects of their life, their faith, and what the church means to them. Welcome
to the fellowship, girls!
